Tesmed
Description
TENS, EMS and MASSAGE stimulator with dual output channel. Before use, please read all instructions in this user manual carefully and keep it safely for future use.
The Tesmed TE-880R PLUS stimulator belongs to the group of electrical stimulation systems. It has three basic functions: TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), EMS (Electronic Muscle Stimulation), and MASSAGE.
Functions of the Tesmed TE-880R PLUS stimulator: The device has 73 programs (11 TENS programs, 10 EMS programs, and 52 MASSAGE programs) and applies electrical currents in the low-frequency range for therapy. Each program controls the electrical impulses generated, their intensity, the frequency and width of the pulses.
Based on the simulation of the body's natural impulses, the mechanism of electrical stimulation equipment is to create electrical impulses that are transmitted transcutaneously to nerves or muscle fibers through the electrode. The intensity of the two channels can be adjusted independently and applied individually to a body part. This dual-channel device can be used with eight electrodes. The electrical impulse is first transmitted to the tissue and then transmits the stimulation to the nerves and muscles in various parts of the body.
The Massage function is a non-medical function. The Massage stimulation program provides relaxing muscle vibrations.
How to use TENS:
Used for temporary relief of pain associated with sore muscles and in the neck, shoulders, back, joints, hips, hands, abdomen, upper extremities (arm) and lower extremities (leg) due to exercise strain or normal housework activities.
It is also intended for symptomatic relief and management of chronic, intractable pain and for relief of pain associated with arthritis.
EMS Mode:
1) relaxation of muscle spasms;
2) prevention or delay of disuse atrophy;
3) increased local blood circulation;
4) muscle re-education;
5) immediate post-surgical stimulation of the calf to prevent venous thrombosis;
6) Maintaining or increasing the range of motion TENS or EMS can be used at home or in hospital, use should be done by patients aged 18 years and older.
