Description Food for special medical purposes in powder form indicated for the dietary management of severe allergies to cow's milk protein and/or multiple food allergies.
Based on free amino acids indicated, from 0 to 36 months of age, for the dietary management of severe allergies to cow's milk protein and/or multiple food allergies. It is a thickened formula with thickeners and devoid of cow's milk protein.
It can be used as the only source of feeding up to six months of the baby's life if breastfeeding is not possible. After the sixth month, on the advice of the doctor, the product will integrate into a diversified nutrition.

How to use Before preparing the bottle always wash your hands.
1. Clean and sterilize the bottle, teat and all the materials that are used.
2. Bring the water to a boil for 5 minutes and allow to cool until it reaches a temperature of 40 °C, or heat mineral water (from the bottle just opened) up to 40 °C.
3. Pour the necessary amount of water into the bottle.
4. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the measuring cup included in the package. Level each measuring cup with a dry and clean knife without pressing the powder.
5. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding the formation of lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized teat on the bottle.
6. Cool to a temperature of 37 °C. Check the temperature of the bottle by putting a drop of the product on the wrist. Use immediately.

Warnings Carefully follow the doctor's recommendations during weaning, do not introduce products containing milk protein or other types of protein into the child's diverse diet without consulting the doctor. It should not be taken in case of glucose-galactose malabsorption. In case of premature birth, low birth weight or immunodeficiency, seek advice from the doctor.
-Do not use beyond the date indicated under the package.
-Remove the metal sheet completely before opening.
-Close the jar after each use with the plastic lid.
-Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the meal.
-Each meal should be eaten within an hour of preparation. The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Throw away the amount left.
-Given its particular composition, it has a typical appearance, smell and taste, different from those of the classic formulas for early childhood. It has a thickened formula, therefore it may be necessary to shake the product more than usual to achieve complete dissolution of the powder.
-It may, of course, contain clearer aggregates consisting of dietary fiber that does not affect the quality of the product.
-The consumption of this product can cause the appearance of feces of a greener and less harsh color than a classic formula, but without causing discomfort for the newborn.
-Don't use the bottle as a pacifier.
-Do not add sugar.
-The product must not be parenterally administered.
-The product is not suitable for feeding by tube.
