While the test is being carried out, the sample is applied in the well (S) present on the test box. FPV antigens, when present in the sample, react with the gold particle-coated anti-FPV antibodies found in the test strip. The mixture then migrates upward to the membrane chromatographically by capillary action and reacts with anti-FPV antibodies in the membrane on the test line zone.
If the sample contains the Feline Panleucopenia Virus, a colored line appears in the area of the test line indicating a positive result.
If the sample does not contain FPV antigens, no colored line does not appear in the area of the test line indicating a negative result.
As a procedural control function, a colored line will always appear in the control line area, indicating that the correct sample volume has been added and the membrane elimination has occurred.

How to use
Before performing the test, make sure that the cassette, sample, reagent and/or controls are at room temperature (15-30 °C).
Remove the test box from the aluminum packaging and use it as soon as possible. The best results will be obtained if the test is performed at least within an hour.
Collect the feces or vomit of the cat with the tampon from the cat's anus or on the ground. Insert the swab with the sample into the reagent tube provided. Mix to make sure you extract a good amount of sample.
Place the test on a clean and flat surface. With the dropper upright, transfer 3 drops of extracted sample (approximately 120 mcL) to the well (S) on the cassette, then start the timer.
Read the result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the results after 10 minutes.

Interpretation of results
POSITIVE: Two lines appear, the control line (C) and the test line (T). The result is to be interpreted as positive regardless of the color intensity of the test line (T).

NEGATIVE: Only one line appears, the control line (C). The test line (T) does not appear.

NOT VALID: The control line (C) does not appear. Regardless of whether or not the test line (T) appears, the result is to be interpreted as invalid.

Warnings
Do not use beyond the expiration date.
Handle all samples as if they contain infectious agents. Observe the precautions established against microbiological risks during the test and follow the standard procedures for the proper disposal of samples.
Wear disposable gloves and eye protection when handling samples.
Humidity and ambient temperature may adversely affect the results.
Do not remove the test box from the package until ready to use.
Do not reuse the test.
Do not mix components of different batches and products.
For in vitro veterinary diagnostic use only.
All results should always be evaluated by the veterinarian taking into account the other clinical data available. To confirm the results, confirmation methods such as PCR testing are recommended.

storage
Store in sealed packaging at room temperature or refrigerated (2-30 °C). Do not freeze.
The test is stable until the expiration date printed on the sealed envelope. The test cassette must remain in the sealed packaging until ready to use.
Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.

Format
The kit contains:
- 1 test;
-1 dropper;
-1 test tube containing extraction reagent;
- 1 tampone;
-Package leaflet.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0506/7459/8087/files/GetDoc_04db0c83-a1cf-4023-b0ba-219e90128490.jpg?v=1706403548
